I need to make an entree for dd's end of year potluck. For Christmas, I made lamb chops so this time I thought I'd try kebobs. Can I use the precut meat that is labeled for stew? Or is there another cut of meat that is better for this?

Has anyone ever made satay? I wonder if that would be easier.

When I make steak kebobs I buy a sirloin steak and cube it myself. I don't think the stew meat is tender enough.

I make chicken and pineapple kebobs all the time, they are very easy. I just cut up chicken breast into 1 inch cubes and marinate in Lawry's Teriyaki w/Pineapple juice for an hour or so. I alternate on the skewer chicken, pineapple chunks and red peppers. Grill for 10 minutes and your done.

Thanks! You've saved me from serving rubbery skewers!
