Hello to all of the babybargains.com message board members!
We are happy to announce to you that, as you can see, the BBB is back up and running! We hope you’ll accept our apologies for the six-day outage that the BBB experienced and are very sorry that we could not provide any advanced warning. We know how difficult it is when a community you have come to rely on is not available for you. However, we think you’ll be happy to learn of what we have as a result. Due to unforeseeable technical issues, the BBB went down and required some work to restore it. Running a slightly longer restore process would mean that all the threads that were lost during our initial migration would be able to be brought over again, so we opted to stay down in favor of having the full archive of threads available for our members. As a result, we now have that, and you should be able to find all your old posts again.
Some items of note: You may notice some bugs here and there. For instance, in a handful of cases, some of you may find that your user ID is having issues. If this is the case, please contact a moderator, the contact us link, or the authors link below, and we’ll resolve the issue immediately. Another example is that the user titles aren't quite right. These are things we're continuing to fix as we're able to do so. Additionally, the search functions is still not working properly, so we will be taking the boards offline again in the future to re-index the database so that the search function can work at 100%. We will post an advance warning announcing the downtime when we are ready to do that. Finally, if we encounter issues in the future where the BBB goes down again, we hope you will be patient, and thank you in advance.
