Anyone have Barclay Blocks?

I'm considering these for DD's 2nd birthday. Anyone have a set? What are your thoughts?

Yes, I have them. They're wonderful. We love them and expect to get years of use out of them. I bought an intermediate set of maple firsts and seconds, and I wish I'd bought only firsts because some of our seconds were VERY dark in color. If that would bother you, buy firsts only. I probably wouldn't buy them for a two year old, since serious block play doesn't usually begin until age 4. Up until then, they generally just stack the blocks and don't build anything in particular, so a cheaper set of smaller blocks would do, IMO.

We love our toddler set. My daughter was introduced to them around 2 years of age. True that she doesn't build any thing specific, but we usually play with her, so it's nice for us to establish a base and for her to build on top of it. This set will keep her occupied for a long time. We also have a set of Haba fanatasy blocks, but she definitely prefers the Barclays.
