Will the Compass True Fit have as much side impact protection as some Britax?

I had originally planned to get the Boulevard but now am considering the True Fit. We want to have a convertible seat for our infant but it's a really tight squeeze to do the 45 degree angle in our Civic. So, the True Fit seems like a great idea. But, I wanted to factor in the side impact protection to my decision.
