Has anyone tried this or read this book? Did it work? How long did it take for you? My dd is 14 mo old and I was thinking of reading this for suggestions on helping her to go to sleep on her own easier, and to get herself back to sleep on her own during the night. I'm at the point where I don't know what else to do now, and I desperately need some sleep and "me" time.
Also, I noticed there is the "No cry sleep solution" regular, and then the one for toddlers and preschoolers (says from 1-6) so I wondered which was more appropriate? Thanks!

I've read posts from people it worked for. It didn't work for me for either of my kids. My kids were HORRIBLE sleepers from birth. The only thing that saved my sanity (seriously!!!) was the Ferber Method.

Worked for us. Took a few months, but it was the path we were on anyway. Definitely worth the read, as is "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" by Marc Weissbluth.
