My dd finally signed the sign for "milk." I was so excited- now she does it back and forth all the time when she wants it. She was sick the other night and we were in the rocking chair and she signed "milk" to me, so we got up to get some. She understands it! DH didn't believe me until she did it the other night and he saw, then he started doing it back to her and thought it was pretty cool. We're working on other signs now too- hopefully she picks them up soon. I'm so proud of her!!
