I am just getting a laptop setup for my son and need some software for it. I know you can find mac software at the apple store but are there any other places to buy similar software? I have bought some at best buy but they do not have much for macs. Any other stores or online sites to check? I am looking for kids games and utilities.

Thanks,

Jessica.

For games, I just have DD play the free games from sites like pbskids.org, readysetlearn.com (Discovery Kids) and Playhouse Disney. These keep her quite entertained and I've never felt the need to purchase anything more.

For utilities, someone here recommended Onyx a long time ago. I use it for periodic maintenance and cleanup, and I think it works well. It's free online.

You can check Version Tracker for any downloads, both free and paid, available on the web.

pbskids.org is wonderful for games.

try Ebay to see if you can find bargains if there are specific titles you want.
