Means in the actual store not online.

The volo is down to $49 at some stores.

I've been checking almost daily, it went from $99.00 to $69.99. I was waiting for it to go down to $50. Today I scanned it again and it was $24.99!!! I grabbed the last one in the store. Now that I have it, could someone who has it tell me whether s/he likes it or not?

Are you guys sure it's the Carbon? There was a huge debate a couple weeks ago after the 1st markdown that it was the Silver. For example, using the store stock search, I find the Carbon at all the stores near me. But when I scan them at the store, they are all $99 - regular price. I asked a store clerk and they said the clearance ones were all sold out already and it was a different color.

Whoa! What an amazing deal!

I have the silver that I got for $49 and I looooove it. I had been coveting a mac for a while but didn't want to pay retail. I also love the fact it has a 55lb weight limit. My only complaint would be that it goes over really easily. (without my 30lb ds in there of course!)

I *think* I started the silver/ carbon debate. sorry. The stroller was in the box in my trunk and I guessed the color by the pics I found online. Mine is deff. silver, but I have seen carbon (not on sale) in one store here in PA

Hmmm. the target by me had no boxed but one display last week for $50... I was so tempted. If it goes down to $25 then I have to buy it. I just have to :)

I just got the last one at my Target today and it was also down to $24.98! The box says silver is the color. Not sure I really needed it, but I bet I'll get at least $25 use out of it! Glad to hear everyone likes it so much!

dang, I found only ONE and it was in carbon. I got so excited until I scanned it. Anyone want to sell theirs? I have another silver one that it would match oh so well! :) Even with shipping it would be cheaper than buying retail!

Shoot, I can't remember the site where you can plug in the DCPI and find out if stores have it. Does anyone have it handy? I live in the land of Targets so if there are still some available, then it should be here somewhere! But I don't want to go to 20 of them in below zero weather to find out! TIA!

I was able to locate the Patemm Pads that were clearanced by using the link and entering the DCPI. They didn't have them near me, but I entered my sister's zip and she picked me up one.

It really varies if things show up. I have had things like the Volo that don't show up at all and other stuff show up when it was 50% off. I think it just depends on when they get around to taking it out of the computer.

In regards to the Target inventory site, I've tried to look up clearance items with no luck and then tried again a few hours later and it would come up. It may have to do with inventory updates. Even in store the inventory from the computer is a couple hours behind.

CARBON is NOT on clearance. It's the silver. It's similar to the Carbon, but the carbon is silver and black. I've checked several Chicagoland Targets an NO ONE has the silver version. All of them have several carbon ones for full price.

I guess I was lucky... i did get a Carbon one on clearance for $49.99, and I also got a silver one, and it was at the Conshohocken, PA Target where someone said they were now ringing up 99.99. This was about 3 weeks ago. I think it may be according to Mfg date. I noticed the carbon one i bought had the red markdown sticker on it was manufactured early 2007, and the stroller without the markdown sticker was dated 9/2007. The sale was probably according to model year.

I just picked up two Mac Volos in Carbon at my Target for $24.98 each. My MIL will be thrilled to have stroller this lightweight!

Both boxes list Carbon as the color.
DCPI is 030 09 0106

Blurb on the box says copyright Maclaren 2006... so I think the poster who speculated that the clearance could be based on model year is right.
