Does anyone still have a decent selection of coats on clearance? I missed the Old Navy deals, and our TCP was wiped out. Am I out of luck? Has anyone tried Sears yet? I'm wondering when they clearance out the Land's End stuff.

I saw several at Dillards, but I live in a warm climate where they aren't as popular.

I saw some at Kohl's about a week and a half ago.

Thanks guys, that gives me a few ideas. I didn't even think of Kohls! I think I'm going to try a different mall today and see what happens. If that doesn't work, I'll definitely check those out. I'll report back in case any one else is on the hunt.

This was first year in a cold climate, so planning ahead for a coat is a new thing to me. I lived in S. FL for most of my life, and I didn't even own a coat! LOL

2 weeks ago, Sears had a few Lands Ends clothing on sale for 35% off, including a few coats. You might want to call first.

I was in a Talbots Kids store today and they had coats on sale (priced between $20-30 I think). They were similar to the LLBean and Lands End squall coats. I think they were even and extra 25% off the lowest sale price.

OK, I'm back!

First, I bout a Lands End Coat at Sears for $35 (orig $60). I wasn't thrilled, but it was nice.

Next I went to The Children's Place- holy cow!

I got:

I told the cashier that I had forgotten my coupon at home, so she gave me 15% off, which helped. Yay!

I also bought 2 nice Arizona sweaters at JCP for $3 something each.

 Great score!! Very nice of the cashier to give the discount too! I love it when stuff like that happens.

Thanks! Yeah, I was kind of surprised she did it. I was really just planning on using it as a lead in to find out if I went back with the coupon and the receipt, if they'd adjust it, but this way worked too. LOL
