We are going to be doing some remodeling on the kitchen in the early spring. Any tips, good places to buy, specific brands, etc. that you wish you had known or done? Here's what we're going to be doing: restaining cabinets, putting in granite countertops, maybe a new sink, backsplash (sp?) stone or tile-not sure which one, putting in wooden floors in the kitchen and entryway, (it's carpeted everywhere else), painting the walls, and getting stainless steel appliances. Also, our house is only 2.5 years old but its a small/smarter home so it didn't have very many upgrades when we bought it.
