Question for Mirena users

Do you still get PMS symptoms if you aren't getting your period anymore? I use the copper IUD but my friend has had the Mirena for about 8 months. Each month she has been getting less and less bleeding and was wondering about the PMS aspect.

Not really. I've had some cramp-like low back pain, but other than that, nothing, thank heavens!

I'll get breast tenderness every once in a while and it always throws me b/c I don't have any other "period" indication. That's pretty much it for me, though.

I have a strong O (which I had before anyway...) but no other real on-coming period symptoms.

I think I'm an unusual Mirena case, but I get cramps pretty regularly, but rarely get any bleeding. I'm not sure if the cramps are associated with period time or not, but I get them. Oh yeah, and I'm moody sometimes too, but that might just be me...

My PMS symptoms completely disappeared with my period. I have endometriosis and the 18 months I had my Mirena before becoming pregnant this time were completely symptom free for me. I'll be getting one again.

I've had it for about 1 year and a half now. I get nothing. And I have not had one period either. YAY, Mirena! :love5:
