Cabin rental in Tahoe

Long shot - anyone rent a cabin in Tahoe they would recommend? We're hoping to do a snow trip soon and are flipping between cabin rental ($$) and motel. Since we have a 100-lb dog, we're talking Motel 6 type motel.

Any recommendations for cabin rental or big-dog allowing motels? We definitely want in the snow, not below snow-line.

I would attempt to get a cabin that allows dogs as opposed to a motel... have you checked VRBO?
