Improper use of crescent (Boppy, etc.) pillows linked to 3 infant deaths

This article is from our local newspaper - my parents forwarded it to me tonight so I thought I'd post it here. The deaths were attributed to SIDS but the pillows were the common thread. Nothing against Boppy or other crescent pillows when used properly, just thought this was noteworthy.

I know my girls have both fallen asleep while leaning back on Boppy pillows as infants. They were never unattended and the pillows were never in their cribs or on beds, but I have to think it's not uncommon for infants to fall asleep on or near Boppy pillows.
