How do you introduce a new toy?

I am just curious how others introduce new toys. I have several toys from Christmas and birthday that I put away (we got way too many) and am bringing them out one at a time. Sometimes I just add it into the shelf after DD is asleep. Sometimes I set it out on the table with some other relevant toys. Other times I sit down and present it to her (for ones that might be difficult to know how to begin to play with them). Just curious what you do....

I usually just say something like "lets try something new today!" and i get it from the closet. DS is 3 now, and he is pretty aware that we don't open stuff all at once, so its not a big surprise, but its still fun.
I usually open something new when *I* am BORED with what we've been playing with!! :wink2:
