FAO Schwarz Kitchen of the Chefs $39.99

I bought this kitchen for DS last june for $58 something and thought that I was getting a super deal. I was looking around the outlet at FAO and realized that the price had dropped even further. It's now $39.99. I played around with shipping and it was only $4 something which makes it less than $50 shipped.

DS loves this kitchen as does his friends. It's not conventional looking but the knobs make a little click noise when you turn it, it goes great with the ikea kitchen stuff (in case you were wondering about size) and works great considering how little we paid for it.

Just in case you're wondering about size. We have had 3 kids playing around the kitchen comfortably. A 2 year old, 4 year old and 2 and half year old. 4 kids was a bit of a squeeze and 2 kids could play around it reasonably well.

Hmmm.... now it says that estimated standard shipping for me is $5.50. It's still a good deal I think because it's much less than what I paid for it. I paid $58 something for it in June 2007 with free shipping.

FAo's PA policy is 30 days from date of purchase. I bought something, a few days later, they had a 25% off sale, I called, mentioned the price I paid, did I qualify for the discount, they forwarded some paperwork, and a few days later I saw the 25% discount credited to my card.

They're great!

Will it go back in stock? Perhaps if someone returns one.
If you notice, a few of the things on sale, heelys, christmas noukie, chef's uniform, the combination stroller/tricycle were on sale before Xmas. FAO had a flexible return policy that allowed any purchase during Xmas to be returned for free up until 1/31. I think they were not restocked but returned.
