Please no more snow

We are getting six more inches of snow. Of course, I love snow, I love it a lot, I love to cross country ski, I love to snowshoe. But. . . we have too much. Here is a picture of our house before today's six inches. DH did some work on the roof and we figure he got about 500lbs of snow off it after this picture. It was 3 feet in places. That's a lot of snow, like the snow I used to remember when I was a kid (but we lived on the snow belt). We got some snow today too, but nothing compared to yours. Your mailbox pic reminds me of the first winter we moved to our current home. The snow plow decided to take out both our mailbox and our neighbor's mailbox (one of those nice ones, built into a brick post, apparently the plow driver had no clue that he did that!). Our mailman was so lazy, he would just toss our mail where the post was. We ended up just having to prop the mailbox on top of a huge mound of snow for a few wks until the local post office was able to put up a temporary mailbox for us. Nothing like going out to get your mail, only to find your mailbox halfway across your front lawn.

I hope the snow goes away. I'm sure there are kids in FL that would love some snow, just about now, lol.
