The Little Tripper is off the site completely and the Backpack (and Do-it-all) is down to 1 color, pink. Any idea what is going on? I love the new colors LL Bean is bringing its diaper bag and travel touring totes out in like a cute blue floral, so maybe Lands End is getting new stuff in too. I can't believe the LT isn't on there though!

You know, this is about the time the LE turns over its stock, so that might be it.

But I must say, since LE was acquired by Sears, I am less and less pleased with their products and general operating. I still love LE, don't get me wrong, but they aren't the same.

You may want to call them and ask, then ask to speak with a product specialist. It took me 2 product specialists to get the preschool rugby backpack - at the price I'd seen it for, but I got it :) They looked it up in the old catalogs and voila! it showed up at my doorstep!

We had a backpack and lunchbox on our Christmas wishlist, and one set of g'parents got the lunchbox, but not the matching backpack. The morning we were going to the mall to place the order to be shipped to our house, it "disappeared" from the website with all the other preschool backpacks.

FWIW, we love the Little Tripper w/last name monogrammed. It is the perfect church/gym nursery - stay in the car bag for us. The LL Bean one (I picked it up for $3 at the thrift store in great shape) is more slouchy and without shape when loaded.

ITA with the PP who suggested they may be revamping their offerings. Seems like the pink has been the only one on the site for a while.

I called them and used the IM feature on their site and every person I talked to said it was being discontinued. I even pushed them to confirm that it wasn't going to be redesigned or restocked with new colors, but actually discontinued. They all said discontinued. So I ordered a Dadgear backpack that should arrive today.

I personally never liked the Little Tripper. It wouldn't stand up on it's own and that drove me crazy! I love the Large Travel Touring bag from LLBean and that blue floral is calling my name.... It holds a ton but doesn't feel like you are carrying an enormous bag.

Which LLBean one is it? Is it the large or the small one? If it is the small, can you tell me more about it?

TIA~

BUMMER!!!! I have heard nothing but good things about the LE backpack. It is a shame they are discontinueing it. Maybe it will hit the sale, then pink wouldn't be bad, lol. Too light otherwise.

I love it too. The floral is fantastic! I love the new colors.

Well, now that I'm looking at the website...I think I have the one the PP mentioned, the Travel Touring Bag.
http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?page=travel-touring-bag&categoryId=51604&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&parentCategory=4520&cat4=2913&shop_method=pp&feat=4520-tn

Not sure what size (in the car, cold outside right now) brr... Mine doesn't have contrasting lining. It's dark inside, and it doesn't have a changing pad. I stuck one of the Munchkin absorbent pads in there with some wipes, so that's good enough for us. It's nice and light, has several pockets on the outside and at least one on the inside, but only a bottle pocket on one end. That means DS's bottle stayed upright, but DD's sippy cup leaked on some oops clothes inside. If you want to know more, I can keep going... or PM me.

Those prints and other colors are great! I'm a navy fan though, so this is great for me.
