DD#2 is 6 wks. and has a major reflux problem which causes her to choke when laying down (diagnosed and she's on meds now so it's getting better). We've been giving her a mixed Enfamil AR formula/breast milk bottle before bed since she chokes so much she wakes up about every 15 minutes. It really helps her keep it down, so I think the BM may just not be thick enough.
This is the only time of day we do formula since I can keep her upright or in a sling most of the rest of the day. However, since we introduced the formula, she has not pooped. It's been 6 days now- EEK! I am thinking it has to be the formula- I know rice cereal can be constipating, but has anyone found this issue with rice starch in Enfamil AR? She is pretty uncomfortable.
I'm hoping to get her off of this as soon as the meds are working fully (we are trying to get the dosage right and it's not quite there).
