uggg...dr. office won't fax school excuse!

I know I should not complain but I have to drive 20 min-20 min to pick up a dr's excuse that is against their policy to fax....does that make sense! I can see if I always expected them to fax...but come on that should be a courtesy especailly for ehat they charge for a visit! It would be a local fax and would take a minute! I just don't get it!

I'd grumble and complain too but I figure it is probably a privacy issue because they have no idea who'd pick up the fax from the machine on the other end.

I work in healthcare and IME a fax cover sheet with a confidentiality disclaimer covers you legally. Sounds like one of those annoying illogical policies that are just there to make your life difficult. I hate dr's offices when they act like this. :6: :thumbsdown:
