Traveling with 8 month old- where should she sleep?

We are going on vacation next week with our daughter, but now I am beginning to worry, as I don't know if it is safe for her to sleep in the Graco Pack n Playpen that we have. The mattress seems to be terribly soft, especially since she is a tummy sleeper. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Our kids always slept in a pack n' play when we travelled but none of the ones they've slept in had a particularly soft mattress. Most felt downright firm. Good luck.

Most pack and plays have a very thin mattress, it should not be super soft. At 8 months that would work well, especially if she is used to crib sleeping. If she is a cosleeper, than in the bed as usual works. We have even had our kids sleep in the stroller while traveling (nothing tippy!). Good luck and have a great trip!
