You guys know any good deals on them? I like the 24" ones because their large size helps them stay locked together better. Unfortunately, they're sooo expensive.

So far, Toys R Us (can't seem to find it at their online store) has been the best bet. They only have blue (would like other colors), but they're about 3/4" thick and are only $20 for a set of 4 tiles.

Last time I was at Sam's Club they had the primary colored on one side and black on the other. I believe they had 6 in a pack for $19xx. I need to get a couple packs for our basement play area so I will have to check next time I go to Sam's to see if they still have them.

the right start also has some playmats... i'm not sure of the size or thickness though. if a store isn't near you, you can look on their website: www.rightstart.com

My Costco usually has them, but only in black I think. Target carries them as well, but lately I've only seen all blue or all black, so I don't know if they carry the primary or pastel sets any more.

Yup Sams has them: 33.5 square feet for about 20 bucks. Primary squares reverse to black. We did a ton of pricing around, and at less than 60 cents per square foot, these were by far the best deal anywhere.

eta: they come 8 to a pack. We did the entire floor of our playroom in these.
