Hi I have recently started making these and am attempting braided headbands. I have mastered the braiding but don't know how to add elastic to make them stretch around my baby's head.
Can anybody help?
thanks

i sew, so what i would do is collect all the ends and stitch them together. then stitch the elastic onto the "pile" of braid ends. then cover that stitching by hot gluing a piece of ribbon around the whole connection point. (well, i would stitch it. but it might be easier to glue if you aren't a sew-er.)

there was actually a better one that is completely free that someone posted here a few years back. its about how to make curly bows (IIRC, you bake them or something).

I thought I had the link, but can't find it anywhere.... pooh

I don't have pics but you can type in braided headband on ebay and there are some great ones.
