Family website

Most of my family lives out of state and I'd like to post some pictuers and videos of the kids without having to e-mail them.

Any good recommendations on a website where I could do this?

I use blogger.com (a google company - I think?)
it is free and pretty easy to learn how to use.

there are a few that cost some money per month/year?
typepad.com - I know several people who use this one.

In terms of VHS tapes to computer - I would pay to have them transfered to DVD and then load them to your computer. I know there is a machine you can buy (or borrow from a friend) - where you put a vhs tape into the machine and copy it to a DVD -

We use blogger.com too. You can make it private or public. With ours you have to be invited, register & sign in. So only those people we want to see it can.

If you just want photos and video I'm really enjoying www.dropshots.com You can have it public (but it's still not searcable like youtube) or have a guest password different from yours.
