Best place to buy Dutailer Glider

Looks like some places online are pretty good and have free shipping. where did everyone buy theirs. Buy Buy Baby seems a little expensive.

I bought mine from albeebaby.com. I got the upholstered glider for $369, no tax and free shipping. Overall, I am happy with it. There is some assembly involved, though. And the low-end Dutailier upholstered gliders are all made in China, if that matters to you. Also, I love albeebaby.com. I've gotten several items from there (crib, PNP, glider) and I think their prices are good and customer service outstanding.

I recommend finding the style you like locally, different styles feel different to sit in. Once you have a style you like, then I'd comparison shop online and possibly negotiate with your local retailer as well.

I also got ours at Babycatalog.com in 2006 - it was under $300 and still going strong. Craigslist or your local moms list/neighborhood listserves are definitely even better deals!

Check and see if you have any consignment stores or group childrens consignment sales locally... i just scored one of the high end ones (reclines and everything in PERFECT condition with an extra slipcover!) for just $125 over the weekend!

Not sure exactly what type of glider you're looking for, but I got a much better price on an upholstered leather glider from Dutailier's Prestige Collection at a regular furniture store than what the baby/nursery furniture stores were offering it at.

We got ours from Furnitureland South in NC. It also reclines, locks, and has a matching ottoman with a pull-out nursing stool. We picked a snazzy red microsuede and black finish, and it was a great price through them. We got just about everything there because the prices were so good comparatively.
