Cod liver oil for infants?

Hi,

I've searched the board and the web on cod liver oil, and I wanted to know if anyone knows what age its safe to start giving cod liver oil. In most of the posts, it sounded like the children were at least 1 year, and Carlson recommends 2 years of age.
