Tomorrow morning, I'll be running my first half-marathon! I'm super nervous, but I know I'm ready. I did everything my training program told me to, there's nothing more to do but go out and run 13.1 miles tomorrow!

Thanks for the good vibes, ladies! I DID IT!!! It was really really hard, but I did it! Didn't make my goal pace, but I did all right. (TMI warning) I had some ahem, intestinal issues and had a realllly slow miles 2-4. Miles 5-12 were strong and felt good. Around 11.5, my legs were kinda dead, but I pushed through. There was a big hill at mile 12, which sucked, but I was able to pick it up for the last half mile and even managed a sprint across the finish...picked off a guy at the finish line, too! :D

13.1 miles!!! :dizzy: And one of the best parts is that I don't ever have to run that far again if I don't want to! :ROTFLMAO:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You did it!

I ran a half in Iraq and had the same kinds of "problems" in the first 5 miles...found every port-a-potty along the route...and the ones in Iraq are not cleaned on a regular basis (blech)!!!

You can now check this off as one of your life accomplishments!!!

Congratulations again!
