I know about oompa.com

Where else sells wood toys?

I am looking for a wood bead maze for about 9 months. Plus other toys in that age range. Things that have challenges for him to figure out.

Dittoing the above stores.

I'll add a few others:
http://www.maplelandmark.net/type.lasso
http://www.holgatetoy.com/

(both of the above have made in the USA toys)

www.atoygarden.com (has many made in the USA options and sells things like playsilks inexpensively)

I'm not sure if you are looking for brands, but you can also plug various brands of wooden toys in and look at the retailers that come up. Some very nice quality wooden toys are those by Selecta, Haba, and Spiel und Holz (most of those are still made in Germany. Fabric Haba stuff is made in China, but the majority of their wooden products are still made in Germany).

I haven't bought any of these (I'm not even due until June), but I do get the Toys R Us mailers and was intrigued to see these cute, all-natural, paint-free wood toys advertised. They are made from renewable wood and look durable (and kind of old-timey). The prices seem reasonable. The mailer I received showed even more varieties of these toys, but these are the ones I found online at the Toys R Us website.

I saw these at our TRU. The quality was decent, can't say for sure how it would hold up. I didn't care for the styling - square cuts, oversized heads, etc - but that is just a preference. They are MIC, though, for anyone that is wondering.

good prices and service, especially good on kinderkraft mobiles:

Also, I like http://dandelionsummers.com/ for Ostheimer and other organic products. The owner is wonderful.

I really liked this site http://www.nmctoys.com/ but I haven't ordered anything from them, so I can't comment on the customer service or quality.

I realize that this may not be of as much interest to US posters, but I discovered a great place in BC that does wooden toys, along with a lot of other beautiful things called: www.naturalpod.com They do ship to the US too, but there would be duties and taxes involved. We have gotten some great things from them and plan to continue buying from them as DS grows. A place in the US that sells cute artisan-crafted things, including wooden toys is: http://www.mahardrygoods.com/index.php I have not ordered from them since they're in the US and I prefer not to do the tax/duty thing if at all possible, but I went to highschool with the owner!
