P&PT for 7 mo having open heart surgery right now

A friend of mine's adorable 7 month-old baby girl is having open-heart surgery right now. It's been a really long day- she was scheduled at 8 am, and she is still on bypass.

My heart is breaking for her parents right now. I can only imagine how emotionally drained they must be. If you can pray, send good wishes and strength- anything- please do it right now.

Thanks everyone- your good wishes are working- just got word she's off bypass! That's a huge step. Now she just has to get through the rest of the surgery. Well, that, and of course the recovery. Hopefully it won't be more than an hour or so.

Her surgery was supposed to take 4 or 5 hours. She's going on 11 right now.
