DS tracks sand home every day after preschool

I used to take off Sarah's shoes and socks after preschool in the school parking lot for this very reason LOL!!! I had her sit on the side of the van and dangle her feet down while I de-sanded her.

Lol -- I know it sucks... but it means your child is having fun at school playing in the sand! That's a good thing :O)

I don't really mind the sand in her shoes (which does stay in better when the shoes stay on). And she's pretty good at removing the sand in her clothes herself. But the sand in her HAIR is a constant nuisance. And it doesn't turn into sand in the car so much, it turns into sand in her BED.

She has dry skin and gets hyped up by baths, so doing a bath every night is not a good solution for us.

This is very timely for me as DH is insisting on building a sandbox for our backyard. NOT HAPPY!!!
