My friend needs a child-safetly railing that can cover the opening between a wall and a wrought iron railing. it's at the bottom of a stairway. It's about the average distance across - probably about 30-35 inches. Anyone have any suggestions?

We made attachments on both sides of the gate using bolts and wood, and then attached the gate to the wood. It's REALLY stable, and fairly easy to make.
