One of my boys snuck his crayons (non-washable) out from a restaurant and colored all over the fabric part the door inside of the car. Any suggestions on how to get this off?

TIA,

Samantha

Here is Crayola's stain removal site: http://www.crayola.com/canwehelp/staintips/index.cfm?n_id=32

They suggest WD-40

well, it looks like the crayola site itself may be more helpful, but i just got bright red melted crayon out of one of sam's gymbo shirts with Zout. i let the crayon harden first, then scraped off any visible chunks with my nail. sprayed it with the Zout, let it sit, rinsed and repeated a 2nd time, and the crayon is gone. not a trace.

just as a side note, i'd just be careful about scrubbing in only one direction or circles just so you don't end up with an evident mar in the fabric surface. unless it's unavoidable of course. i'd rather have a swirl spot than crayon :).

good luck,
lori

WD-40 worked a miracle for me on a pair of white shorts.
