Has anyone ever done this and if so, what type of fabric did you use? I'm new to CD and just bought a regular trashcan with a lid to store in the bathroom. DD is 15 mos and we're planning to use disposable liners for the solid poops so hopefully it won't get too smelly!
Thanks!

You can buy PUL (waterproof fabric) in all kinds of colors from Wadzoodle.com. It might actually be cheaper to just buy a pre-made one. I like the Wahmies bags. The fit in a Target flip top can very nicely.

I just buy the $3 nylon stuff sacks in the camping dept at walmart I toss them in when I wash the diapers.

I used nylon fabric from JoAnns. It wasn't the ripstop stuff, but thicker. I found that french seams work best with it because it ravels and frays quite a bit. It isn't waterproof, but we do a dry pail and I throw it in the wash with the diapers.
