we are debating getting one of these. any thoughts/recommendations? Thanks.

It does sound great, but it's kind of pricey (Amazon listed it for $79) for something that an infant will only lie on for brief periods of time and probably poop or pee on, IMHO. I might be inclined to get something cheaper and put my money into something that a baby will spend more time with, like an organic cotton sleepsack or blanket, crib mattress or bedding, etc.

I just don't see the need as the child is on the pad for a short time...the Pottery Barn chamois covers are only 19.00 and hold up really well and so soft...my kids are addicted to the chamois sheets now.
