A coworker of mine was recently complaining that she can't get her 5 y/o to fit in the booster seat in her Explorer. She's a big kid (71 pounds and about 42") & her mom says that when she puts the seat in the Explorer, she can't get the seatbelt all the way around her & the seat. Apparently the seat does fit in her other car (not sure of make, but a sedan type), except the daughter does complain about her legs sticking out straight and hitting the seat.
Sorry to be so thin on all the details, but was wondering if this is a common problem & if others have advice. My own daughter is only 1 y/o so I haven't dealt with boosters yet!
