Boulevard or Alpha Omega on Plane

Hi,
We are leaving for Disney in less than 1 week and this is our first time flying as a family, so I'm having anxiety over which car seat to take for my almost 2 year old DD for the flight. She currently rides in the Boulevard but it is so big, I was thinking about taking her sisters old Alpha Omega since it's smaller. We will not be renting a car, so I really just need it for the 2.25 hr flight. Any insight would be so helpful and greatly appreciated.

The AO's lighter and you can take the base off (if it isn't already), that makes it heaps smaller... hmmmm... not sure... I'd probably do that...
