I found lots of places online that sell them --but I would really like to see them and hold them in person before buying--anyone know a store that carries these?

Ikea had them last year, believe it or not. If you are near NYC the guys in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art always have them. Otherwise, is there a store that sells Russian items near you?

The IKEA near me had them as of just a few weeks ago still! They're not authentic Russian ones, of course. I seem to remember that each figured represented a different culture?

I saw them in the "marketplace"(??) down between the picture frame and the mirrors. Right next to the wooden artists' figures.
