Jools? Need Bay Area advice for becoming a tech

I am a NICU RN back here in the SF Bay Area where you used to live. I 'accidentally' told my boss that I might be interested in teaching a car seat class for the parents of babies that are about to be discharged. She told me she would pay for me to become a certified tech if I would teach the class for her. Any idea how i go about this around here?

There's a class in Watsonville in May... might be more, email me joolstag at gmail dot com and I'll get you in touch with a very active tech in Livermore who probably knows all the scoop on all the classes :) (and yay to you for saying something and yay to your boss for being so openminded about it!)
