Are little kids able to sleep comfortably as they would in a regular convertible seat?

Are the headwings a little wider than on the Monarch? This is silly, but DD doesn't like to wear the headphones to watch a dvd because the headwings get in the way. Which means that I end up having to put the audio on the car speakers.

From what I've seen the headwings are awesome. Even better than some 'winged' seats, because there's no pad that pushes the head forward to cause slumping.

Not sure about the headphone situation, though :(

In the pictures the base of the headwings looks wider which would probably be ok. It's just that there is only so much Thomas the Train or Princess stuff I can take and I'd like to reclaim control of the audio entertainment in the car!

Take heart, the moody tween years are coming... my kids are all iPoded and DSed out in the back now (but love their built in speakers on their Recaros...I really think more seats should have that option, or at least as a good add on accessory :D )
