I am looking for help in finding a toddler table and chairs for my nine month old son.* Does anyone know where I might be able to find one that is low enough to the ground that his feet could reach the floor?* All the ones I have been able to find so far have tall tables and there is not much support around the back of the chairs.* My son's school has a table and chair like this that has chairs that have coverage on the sides and he really likes to sit at the table so I wanted to get him one for home.* Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Karla

What about one like this:

We have an older version that is pink & white and my DD#2 can climb onto the chairs (and stand on them!) and get off them by herself.

There are a bunch here:

And Ikea has many kids tables & chairs:

We have this one (the SVALA). We've had it for years and it's great for the early toddler years. It could also easily be painted. We left ours wood and let our kids color on it, so it's not any particular color any more :)

I'd say most kids outgrow this one by 4.

We have that first Little Tikes table and it is perfect IMO. Amy is able to use it easily and has been since she was about 16-17 months.

We also have a rectangular Ikea Mammut table with 2 Mammut chairs and 2 Mammut stools. These days I mainly use it for kid parties, but Sarah ate at that table almost every day for many years (when she was 2-6). I had to put it away recently because Amy was using it as a step stool to get up on the counter!

The Mammut is nice because its large. It can be used as an eating surface for 4-6 kids at a party (depending on the size of the kids, six 3 year olds, but only four 5 year olds, KWIM?). Its also great for crafts for at least 2 kids.

Sarah can still fit at both tables (she's 6.75) but fits much better at the Mammut table.

We only bought one (the Mammut set) and got TWO of the Little Tikes tables as hand me downs. We've used one of the LT tables as a "computer desk" for Sarah for a few years and we keep one outside on the deck as a play table.
