I want to try to do the DADDY pictures this year, but not sure where to look for letters? Did you paint them then?

I got mine at a local Michaels. They were white. I was going to paint them but never got around to it. I still have the little jar of blue paint I bought too:p

Just bought mine tonight at Walmart. Seems they're primed in white which is just perfect for a procrastinator like me who will use them just like that. LOL

I bought mine at Target. I wanted them in white and thought they looked good that way against the background. DH LOVED his Father's Day gift last year!

Michaels. Mine were not primed so I did paint each one a different color. We also got MO to make MOMMY pictures.

I keep seeing posts about only buying a couple of letters to spell DAY to spell Daddy (and now, MO for mommy :)). Don't you take a picture with the whole word? How does it work with only those three? Or do you mean that you bought the right # of letters?

You should take individual pics with each letter to spell daddy/mommy.

Does anyone have any pictures of the final product. This sounds like a great idea.

I bought ours at Michaels. They were white but a little grungy so I repainted them.

Joanns also has letters but they are unfinished.

I got my letters at Hobby Lobby and then bought some paint and painted the letters. I used stencil paint that was $1 for a little bottle---quick drying and easy to use with a little sponge brush.
