Need seats, might not make the Regent sale

Hello,

I am looking for seats for DH's car, 94 Altima. We have 2 Regents in my '01 Passat and they're working fine, but I probably won't make the sale at albeebaby, and I'm wondering what's on the market that is safe, easy to install and comfortable. I haven't kept up with the new products, and haven't posted here in a while.

Also, DS is 52# and about 45" tall. DH is 40# and around 39" Would I be safe putting them in boosters in grandma's car? I don't want to compromise safety at all, but can't afford to buy 4 carseats right now.

You might want to consider the Graco Nautilus for both of your children. It harnesses to 65 lbs, has quite high harness slots (not as high as the Regent, IIRC, but still), and later converts to a HBB. The Evenflo Triumph Advance might be a good seat for your DD as well (it's just a convertible), but I am not sure if it's the best choice for your older child.
