Well since I put the nix on buying a full blow race seat - I decided to just build my own foldable/storeable stand for my wheel/pedals for my Xbox 360. Here's what I tossed together while Zach napped the other day. Now everyone's happy - my wife doesn't have to look at a big old seat and I can use my wheel and I'm happy! :)

Wow, either you are a fast woodworker or that kid takes really long naps. Want to come do some projects at my house?

Nice job, that looks really good, I would totally have that in my house.

Sounds like a great compromise for everyone.

very impressive! And honestly I think it's much nicer looking that big white chair.

THAT is very impressive! How cool.

I said the other chair would have been a big no in our basement, but I'd probably be able to live with that one as it's more mobile. (Our basement will be our MAIN living room, so yes, the situation is a bit different than a wholly recreational basement.)

Here's what I tossed together

That is very impressive! Did you really do that during one nap? Enjoy it!

I am impressed!! That is much better than the chair. I have to laugh, while many of us would not show our DHs "the chair", we will probably want to show them this--"Look honey, see what Bill did during his son's nap? Gosh, don't you think you could do ....." :ROTFLMAO:

DH says that you are too productive during naps and putting him to shame (read half finished boat in basement).

He suggests a Recaro chair to go with it.

Wow, that came out so cool! Since it is foldable, I could even handle that in a "ground level" room.
