This would be for young kids, as well as adults. My old ones are, well, yucky, and I'm trying to convince my more-adventurous-in-the-pool DCs that goggles would help them swim & play better, and irritate their eyes less. I took a look at the goggle section at Target and ran away because there were so many choices and I didn't know where to start!

Any suggestions are most welcome!

Thanks,
Chris

Last year I bought the Aqua Sphere KIDS Seal Tint Lens Swim Goggles and we've been happy with them.

I bought them off ebay (seller is Visibility Unlimited - highly recommended!)

ITA with the Aquasphere. I found a pair at our local sports store - you can search for dealers on their web site. These are the ones I got DS

You adjust each side without pulling hair. Love these.

My personal favorite ones are now selling at - of all places - Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They are made by Speedo, and they fit my smaller face quite well! Don't forget their coupons...

I got dd the aquaspheres at Walmart. She loves them and DH says she would sleep with them if she could.

Are these for older kids? DD is turning 3 - too young? And which department in Walmart can I find them? TIA!

I found them in the sports department where they sell swim fins and fishing rods. These are the kids size and DD was 4 when she started using them. But they are easily adjustable so I would think a 3 yr old would be able to use them just fine.

I like these ones by Tyr for my DD#1. I'm going to try a pair on DD#2 soon too:

They fit the best of all the goggles I've tried on DD#1. I have a pair of Aquasphere ones, but they are more like goggles for snorkling.

I recently tried these one on DD#1 but they don't fit her well.

The Tyr ones are what all the little girls at our YMCA use (they sell them there too).

For myself, I like Speedo Hydrospexs

Mine are pink.

If you can go to a small swim specialty store and try them on, that works the best. Once you know what style and brand fits the best, you can buy at larger retailers.
