I know it's great that DS is invited to all the parties, but now DH thinks we have to invite all these people to DS's birthday. No. There's been too much going on to have a huge party this year. I don't want to invite work friends' kids because DS doesn't know them. I don't want to plan and organise a party for 30+ people in my house. I don't want to pay $$$ to have a party somewhere else. I am not paying $300 for 1 hour of entertainment by a children's party company. I am not inviting the preschool class.
I want something small, just the play group over for cake and ice cream and a balloon or bubbles to take home for a favour. No presents required. Just closest friends to have fun for an afternoon with no stress.
