I am having a really hard time finding an umbrella that clips onto a chair. I know they make them for strollers but I think that would be too small since this is for me to use. This is to clip on one of those Coleman chairs that collapse into a bag if that helps.

I ran around yesterday and looked at Bed, Bath and Beyond, WalMart, Dicks Sporting Goods and the Sports Authority and noone had anything. BBB thought they could order one for me from one of their stores near the beach but they didn't have one either.

I found this one but I'm not sure well it would connect to the chair. I was hoping to find one that had more of an alligator type clip if that makes sense.

Thanks.

We found these a few weeks ago at ShopKo here in Utah. I can't for the life of me remember the brand, but they were in the section with the camping chairs. They have a bracket that attaches to the leg of the camping chair and then the umbrella slides into it. They work pretty well and were around $12.99. They are larger and taller than the ones you linked.

REI has this one. No reviews, but they are pretty good about returns if it doesn't work for you.

Seeing that I got burnt yesterday at the beach - somehow managed to miss my shoulders with the sunscreen, I think I'll pick one up too. You can have it shipped to a store and not pay for shipping, if there's a store near you.

I just picked this one up today at REI. It is much smaller than I thought it would be so I'm not sure how well it will work. I haven't had a chance to try to attach it to a chair yet and probably won't for a couple of days since I'm working and then have stuff at night but I'll post once I try it.

That sounds really interesting. Do you have a picture of the bracket by any chance? That might work too. Thanks.
