I posted on Craigslist at $150 but only got offers of $100. Should I take that or keep it and try to sell it at a later date? Manufacture date is 5/06 and we hardly used it as it was in my dad's car.

The rule of thumb I used when selling a car seat is to divide the "new" price (i.e. what amazon or albee baby is selling it for), then multiply by the number of years left until expiration. So your Regent has about 4 years left on it. Online, Regents are selling at $249 - $279. If you use the $249 number, that means the "fair" sales price for your seat is about $166, so $150 sounds reasonable to me. I wouldn't sell it for $100.

HTH!

They were on sale for 189 someplace last week, usually 199 when on sale, so I'm not really sure you could get too much more (you have to do that 'divide by six and subtract the years used' trick, but figure on what people could really get it for right now new, not really what you paid for it, if that makes sense?)

wow did you try ebay? When I was selling my marathons I got $125-$150 for them. I had several and they all sold within that range..

It sucks doesn't it. People want something for nothing. I have a 2/07 that I tried to sell for $200 at the beginning of the year, then tried for $180, nothing. I put it down to $150 yesterday and someone bought it today, so I think people just want a REALLY good deal. Is it worth trying ebay?

I'm selling mine on Craigslist too. DOM is 5/07, I listed it for $200 because I wanted at least $150, I got offered $150 today. I'm going to wait a couple more days to see if anyone offers $200. I think it really depends on your area. I'm in Colorado but I was visiting my mom in Oklahoma when I got my new frontier so I tried to sell it there, I didn't get any offers at all, had it listed for a week. Then I posted on the Colorado list and got 5 offers the first day I listed it.

I've never sold anything on Ebay but I can't ship it because we're in Hawaii. I'm in the same boat with my strollers. I listed originally at $200 but go no bites until I relisted at $150. Just wondering if I should take the $100 just to be rid of the seat. We don't have anyone coming to visit in the future because of high ticket prices so I don't have much incentive to keep it for that purpose.

<sniff, sniff> I'm not even coming this year :( Grandma's using her free miles to come visit us VS. 4 of us buying tickets to go see her <gag on thought of price for THAT>.
