I must admit, in the absence of any better ideas, I have used disinfecting wipes to clean my large leather ottoman (or jungle climber as my DC's prefer). But, it looks ruddy and non-shiny and its less than a year old. What should i be using? TiA

The last time MIL was here, she was horrified at the condition of DH's leather recliner. She bought ForceField Leather Cleaner and Conditioiner, found it at Joannes. She cleaned the whole the chair and it looked brand new!! (Until DDs got all over it again. :)) But really, it worked wonders, no one could believe how good the chair looked.

It's probably not environmentally friendly, or low-chemical, or anything like that, but it certainly got the job done. I would say use in a well ventilated area.

My house cleaner really likes these wipes that are specifically designed for leather. Don't recall the name....I think they can be picked up at Target, or the grocery store's cleaning aisle. If I see the name, I'll post.
