Can you use just any ink pad for baby handprints? Or are there specific ones out there that are best to use? I'm worried about toxicity...

TIA!

I know the ones made for children are nontoxic for sure. Also, look for the washable kind, much easier to clean off of little squirming hands!

Where do you find the ones made for children? Totally new to this! :)

I bought some from scrapbooking places - Archivers, Hobby Lobby. Honestly, even the ones labeled "washable" were difficult to get off my kids hands. But they are non-toxic.

I get them from Michaels craft store. Also teaching stores and places like Lakeshore learning have them. They say "washable" on the front.

Good luck in your search!
