My city is having a festival of sorts today and I went to it.There is a chi-chi wine shop downtown which sells wine club memberships.You pay $29 and one main benefit(and selling point) is that you get a free wine class!

So I buy the membership(for my daughters' dad) and ask when the next wine class is scheduled.The girl tells me not until fall.

I was upset. The paperwork that describes the membership did not mention this.One would think the classes would be ongoing. I want him to be able to go to a class relatively soon...not 10 weeks from now..

The owner was not in and I did not feel like hashing this out with the young salesperson who did nothing wrong.So I left with the membership card in hand and not looking happy at all.

What now?

Call, tell them what the problem is, and ask if you can have a membership refund. Ask for a call back from the owner.

I would be asking for a refund based on the fact that you didn't know the delay in the class time.
