Oh I'm mortified!

So I was waiting at a traffic light after dropping DS off at the sitter's this morning. I looked over and saw a woman on a motor scooter with 2 kids. She had a little boy who couldn't have been more than 6 on the back with a helmet on, and a little girl around 4 years old standing on the footboard in front of her. :eek: No helmet, no nothing, just standing between the mother and the handlebars. I almost had a heart attack. I wasn't able to get a good look at the license plate, or even the color of the scooter. They were waiting at the light to turn left. I should have turned around and followed her so I could call the police. What in the world could she be thinking???? All I could do was pray for those two little ones. :praying:

Ugh... I hope this isn't the first in a wave of third-world-style transportation scenarios we see now that gas is so expensive :( (not uncommon to see a family of 4 packed onto a scooter in some places :( )

I know, I saw a similar configuration in Mexico once.
